messy miss, a big bug, and four folders

Thought I'd pop on here to post a few more pics...lil miss yogurt lips:
My bathing beauty all ready for dishwashing...or perhaps more ready for some unapproved stunt:
An injured cicada adopted on our way home from a bike ride.  Jude took him in and, while he thought he was playing with him ("Look!  He likes it when I throw him on the ground like this..."), his health probably declined more rapidly after receiving our 'help.'  Love the pretty camo design and  transparent veined wings:
He did receive a playhouse loaded with rocks, leaves, and a few roly poly friends.  Love the sound of cicadas...these bedtime buzzers are my most favorite soundtrack as of late.
The Fantastic Folding Foursome were working wonders here...although it appears Calvin completed his stack so quickly he had time to lay down on the job:
This morning we had another cleaning day (--one area I'm attempting to get the kids to work together as a team...this concept is foreign to kids two years apart in age.  *ahem* ..especially for my older two).  They cleaned their rooms, vacuumed the upstairs, made beds...admittedly, I was motivating them with the upcoming camping trip this weekend.  Work before play.
Hmm...I should get them cleaning the downstairs while we still have momentum...

Jada is getting so big! She looks so cute and spunky standing on the dishwasher door. I'm not sure I've ever seen a cicada actually alive--I didn't realize they had all that pretty coloring on them. And yay for laundry help!! Hope your camping adventure is splendid. ;o)

That Jada just looks like she's cute enough to get away with anything and she knows it. ;-) The dishwasher pic cracks me up. And I'm jealous that you found a live cicada! We keep finding the "shed skins" but I would love for Luca to see how beautiful they are. Way to go Jude! :-)

I'll go on record for being the Cicada hater. ha! It does look cool in your picture, but just the other day on my walk I had one that I thought was dead on the sidewalk suddenly fly up at me in attack mode. Creepy! :)
I do love the polka dot swimsuit and *the belly*--oh my! Adorable!!
LOL to Calvin snoozin on the job. Looks like the towels made for nice blanket and pillow combo!
