hello, there

Whew!  After a busy couple of weeks (family reunion/events, a wedding, and VBS week back-to-back), we are ready to take things a bit slower.  Let me rephrase that:  I'm really to take things a bit slower.  We had a great time with family and the kids enjoyed VBS and the "King of the Jungle" theme.  Here are a few bits of life that happened in between the busyness.  A giant fort constructed by the kids:
Something you didn't know you needed--a trash machine, equipped with three fun ways for garbage to drop, slide, or blow to the appropriate quarters.
Two handsome men in my life:  Jude was all spiffed up for a wedding that he had the honor of being a ring bearer for:
The kids' "preschool clubhouse" arrayed with books, legos, and work papers.  Cami was the teacher.

VBS day one:  We so enjoyed having Xander & Ray hang with us for a couple of days.  The kids got busy crafting that morning, and made a variety of jungle-themed masks.
All for now~ hope your summer is fun too!

I hear you on the need for things to move a bit slower! Summer whirlwind!!
Jude looks so handsome in his bowtie and I love all the creative animal masks. After seeing the VBS video I noticed Cami really gets into the VBS theme doesn't she? ;o)

*Great* fort! I have a love/hate relationship with forts. They keep little people occupied and yet they require that nearly every sheet, blanket, chair and clothespin in the entire house be transported to the living room and later refolded and put away (which I've noticed little people aren't quite as enthusiastic about) :) Looks like Cami was doing a great job as a preschool teacher and the VBS costumes are so cute! Love Cami's kitty ears and Ray's crocodile (?)
