We just got back from our anniversary trip to the Oregon coast. What a great time! (minus the many airport dull hours of waiting due to cancelled flights with multiple connections to make adventures). So much natural beauty to see...it might be my new favorite place on the planet that we've been to. Rocky coasts with endless waves crashing on them...
Beautiful redwood forests
Picturesque fields of wildflowers
Pretty little shelled creatures clinging to the rocks exposed from low tide,
A green and scenic round of golf
A romantic horseback ride on the beach
...and our view wasn't too bad either.
More of our panoramic view...we found this great (and very reasonably priced) little place...LOVED it. Definitely our favorite place we've stayed at. The waves crashing on the pretty rocks were amazing to watch. And morning and evening provided a different show. The low tide exposed some more of the rocks...looked like a completely different place. Very unique.
A few more shots...

Oh oh oh! I have been waiting for these pictures!! Absolutely gorgeous!! I feel relaxed just gazing at them! ;o) I'm so hoping our "little" road trip works out this summer (we're a bit concerned detasseling might be too late for us to fit our trip in . . .) but if we do I'll definitely be contacting you for more details on the places you visited. Glad you and Andy could get away for awhile.
*LOVE* that last picture of you and your mister! So great that you could get away to such a beautiful place.
