Have you had your daily dose of CHEESE? Jude has been a ball of energy lately, coming out of his mellow self a bit. He still eats peanut butter from the jar, and loves to be a gentleman in opening doors for me and Jada...sometimes shoving past us to do so. He also drew these delightful tigers:
This baby tiger has been quite hungry lately and at one point ate through most of a muffin paper attached to her breakfast.
She also took a tumble down the swing set ladder and got a little shiner on her face--pictured here, along with the pride and satisfaction of owning her very own plastic pet turtle:
Calvin's caused a few more laughs lately, asking if they drain the ocean (since it's winter), and in trying to say "ukulele," he came up with "Do you know that one instrument--it's like a violin, except you play it like this [insert plucking imitation here]...I think it's called a ooh-la-la. Do you know that instrument?" Here's a sweet lil picture he drew. (I think it's a picture of me...)
Our last little blizzard came through yesterday...a white-out for a good chunk of the morning.
...and the day after a predictable and familiar scene:
Andy and I are still set on camping later this week...it's not many times you get to be in a blizzard and a camping trip within 5 days of each other. Although the camping has yet to come to fruition...I'm envisioning a little mud.
Here's a fun little makeover: A chest from my grandparents, a hunter green garage sale desk ($7), and another garage sale nightstand ($3), which just happened to match the style of the chest perfectly. Add a coat or two five (give or take) of white paint,
And you get some girly storage.
Cami's pretty excited, since she's been asking me to do this for awhile...
And my little organizing chiclet will have plenty of space for her little crafts...and, oddly enough, no space at all in her entire room for her photo-bombing brother:

LOVE your furniture makeovers!! It looks lovely! I'm thinking Jada looks like a very blonde Cami. I was going to tell you, with camping, bring a tarp to set your tent on . . . that way no moisture would seep up in your tent overnight. Maybe everyone knows this, but I thought Josh ingenious last year when he did that! ;o)
GREAT job on the furniture makeovers!! I just *love* to see how people take those bargains and give them a whole new look with just a "little" paint. LOL on the "ooh-la-la" instrument.
