A certain 3 and 1/2 year old has been rather impatient over the lack of snow. "When is the snow going to come? --It's taking a long time." When the first sparse snowflakes came spiraling down this morning, I summoned him to the window for the long-awaited moment. He excitedly told me that he saw the 'cornflakes' on the bushes. We gathered a light dusting, enough to go run around and dance in for a short time....after they came in, Jude declared, "God is throwing the snow down!" And so begins a fresh new season of cold and snow to enjoy.

Just the perfect kind of festive snow! I'll admit it, I'm jealous . . . there were rumors we would get a bit but had nothing today. Tell God to throw some this way! (ummm, but not TOO much . . .) ;o)
That's adorable! Sometimes I miss having a little person around who says adorable things and then I remember adorable little people also like to color on appliances with permanent markers and that soothes me a bit. ;)
