more december fun, and a munching monkey

To start: a colorful coat of many colors to go along with our Advent Devotional. I drew a coat onto watercolor paper with a bottle of glue and let it dry so when they painted the glue lines showed up. Cami enjoyed it. Calvin mixed colors and ended up with a dull brown, and Jude's 4-second attention span did not hold out for this activity. But Cami's was extra colorful, and in perfect rainbow order to boot: And what hasn't been part of our December enjoyment for quite awhile...an eye-popping morning light show: We didn't get around to making those cookies, but here's a sugarless way to enjoy colorful food-decorating: They were to be circular cracker & cream cheese 'ornaments'... Cami made a boy, a girl, and Mickey: And now. . . (*insert trumpet fanfare here*) . . . Jada has eaten her first solids! Not because I felt like it, but because the big kids were begging me every night... "Can Jada PLEASE eat her baby food. . . P L E A S E ?" So she had a couple of bites last night. "Ew, this does NOT taste good." "...but you're all cheering for me, so I'll act like I like it:" Next up on the menu: hard wood floors. Mmmm.

Cami's coat is beautiful!! And of course you would find a sugar-free way to do some food crafting!!! ;o) What a cute idea! I love Jada's eyes--she just looks like the biggest sweetheart. (And I enjoyed catching glimpses of you via the live streaming of the concert last night, but so missed being there in person).

Hahahaha! Jada, what a sweetie. I love the art project, I think that I could spend a few hours doing that just by myself. :)
