We've been having fun celebrating Christmas with our Advent activities...here's another Nativity toy I assembled using pre-made felt Nativity stickers. I backed them with felt, along with a few popsicle sticks for a stable. Jude has in one day's time de-felted and broken the stable pieces, and they are currently scattered in various places in our living room, but I'm trying not to think about that right now.
Our tea party: gingerbread tea, star apple slices, and star-shaped cinnamon raisin bread with cinnamon cream cheese.
And here's our Noah's ark craft that went along with Day 3's lesson:
And since Jada's been a little left out, here she is after taking down her froggy play mat in a rolling/wrestling session. You might also notice the conspicuous pool of baby barf, and the absorbant towel that was being used ineffectively as a burp rag.
Coming soon: pictures of Jada eating her first food. Maybe. IF I get around to it and convince myself that it is in fact necessary to feed her solids. I guess we can all look forward to seeing more colorful vomit from here on.

Your felt stable looks so cute, very sorry to hear about its demolition. I keep trying to remind myself that some day when they are old and grown I will miss all the mess and destruction I stumble over on a daily basis. And you're still making memories, ones that I'm certain will be giggled about some day, even if they are sighed over currently. ;o)
And no worries about the solids, she'll get around to it eventually! It's so much easier just to keep nursing . . . ;o)
I am enjoying the "advent"ures =)
