I'm so excited that December is under way! Our house is decked with wintery and Nativity pretties, and with it our Christmas activities that we are having fun with.
Each day we read a page of this devotional, and pull out from the jar a symbol (related to the devotional), and a baby envelope to surprise them with a fun activity of the day.
Here's our little display area for the symbols (in the absence of an actual Jesse Tree)...
And today's edible treat...we read about the first sin and ate these apples with gummy 'snakes.'
I've also been collecting a few more child-friendly navities like this adorable (and inexpensive) Nativity block purchased on Etsy:
and this sparkling nightlight that I scored for free with a coupon:
and I was elated to be gifted with this incredible felt finger puppet Nativity from Janna's blog giveaway (thank you, Janna!) SO cute...and even better that they are meant to be played with.
May your CHRISTmas season is filled with grateful adoration of a Savior who came to the earth He created...to die for us undeserving hell-bound sinners. What riches we have in Christ! All available to us through simple faith in Him alone.

The pic in your header gave me a good giggle--how adorable! LOVE your white/sparkly mantle and the line-up of all the stockings you worked so hard on last year (aren't you glad you got Jada's done ahead of time??!). ;o) Hopefully I'll have your little package in the mail tomorrow and you'll get it come Monday! Have a blessed time celebrating our Saviour with your munchkins!
