sugar & spice . . . and puppy dog tails

There is an infinite amount of free entertainment taking place in our household on a regular basis. The boys seem to have a well-developed sense of humor, whether it's Jude's "Mom--I'm bigger [than] you" followed by an exaggerated laugh, or Calvin's earth-rumbling flatulation followed by, "Did you smell it?" --there are plenty of eye-rolling opportunities. Calvin's also been known to proceed in a hypothetical line of questioning for interest's sake, such as whether he would get spanked if he bit my arm completely off with his tiger-like teeth, necessitating a prosthetic arm. And just today Jude said to me, "Don't sing Mommy--it hurts my ears." But I'm glad the Lord gave me girls too...I get to enjoy both ends of the spectrum. Here's my girl who likes to strike a pose: ...and draw pictures of lively and detailed happenings (I believe of our yet-to-be-taken South.Carolinian trip to visit their beloved aunt, uncle & cousins and see the ocean (we're thinking of driving there next summer unless we come to our senses sooner). A little girlish grin from my pj'd petunia: ...and another ballerina pose because we like to take our girlishness to excesses: *gratified sigh* I'm so blessed with my girls...and my boys. Oh boy.

Oh, I commiserate entirely! Sometimes I think if we had started with boys our family size might have been dramatically diminished. ;o)

That Jada grin . . . *dreamy sigh* and I totally laughed at your last pic!
