God's "handy"-work ..and other highlights of the week
I've been immensely enjoying my baby doll's little working parts...especially her teeny hands. I've always thought hands were interesting and surprisingly versatile tools put there by the Creator--and uniquely descriptive of a person's age, occupation, etc. So I was over-the-moon delighted when I saw my littlest peanut discover her amazing and adorably chubby little digits. It seems she is also impressed by this Divinely-created masterpiece.
What else have we been up to? It seems anything and everything has been occupying me lately, as life gets a little busier with school-runs and a full Fall schedule for us as a fam. I've been trying to be a better steward of the house (Calvin also will pitch in once in awhile):
And grocery-hauling has also seemed something of a time-consuming project. Although I was delighted to discover this ultra-healthy (and amazingly delicious!) milk substitute since I've been cutting down the kids' dairy consumption. It really does taste good, although Calvin's not sold on it yet. (After all, you can never have too much flax.)
This next shot reveals my little girl's big-girl attitude. You'll notice that "BOY" is in the singular...and it IS a certain curly-topped boy who is of age to cause adequate trouble for his six-year-old-sis.
Whew--I'm a little exhausted thinking about those squabbles. Time for a nap [shot].
Hope you are refreshed and ready to go for a brand new week!

Wonderful pics Anna!! That first one of Jada is just gorgeous--what a moment to capture (and seriously, that's not helping my current bout of baby-itis). ;o) Laughing at Cami's sign--we've been there!! And I think I want to squeeze Jude--could that smile be any sweeeter?? And I must know, where on earth do you find flax milk--I've never heard of it!!
Oh, Anna! That first picture! GORGEOUS!!!! Love how you captured that sweet little hand. That was always something I loved about my boys, too. Sometimes I wish I had a rewind button so I could go back and savor a few of those moments again. Sweet snap of your Jude with his daddy, too!!!
I've seen flax milk out here for a good while, but I've been a little scared to try it- thanks for being my "guinea pig"...I'll put it on my list this week! Love your photo set- we've had MANY of those doorknob signs in our midst over the years- they haven't gone away yet, either. :)
