a sparkly situation, really good cheese dip, and going gray

Hoo-ray for the big kids--they're still adding their spunk & sparkle to every day life. Calvin has proudly announced his ability to decorate. With craft sequins. On the carpet. (At least he cooperated when I forced him to pick them up one by one.) And the other day he filled his pocket with them to have them come out in the washer. And the dryer. Is that what you call "sparkling clean?" He talks at an abnormally high decibel and loves loud noises in general. The other day I overheard this: "Jude, do you want me to help you shut the door loud? . . . . No, that's too quiet--here, let me help you... *SLAM* "
Cami has had a few one-liners of her own. She informs us almost every night at the supper table of this really amazing cheese dip that she has yet to create. "When I grow up, I'm going to make a REALLY yummy cheese dip with all the kinds of cheeses." And she was so informative a few days ago when she said sweetly, "Daddy, the side of your hair is kind of getting a little bit gray." ...at least she's honest. ;)

Keep Cami's gray-spotting prowess away from me--I just pulled two (rather long ones!) the other day. Who knows what she'll find back there! ;o) And her cheese dip sounds delicious, I can't wait until it is officially invented. Sounds like your cuties will keep you busy right up until Jada's appearance (for your own sanity I recommend putting all sparkly mediums away!!). ;o)

mmmm, we want some of that cheese dip, Cami!

I'll have to bring a package of locally made cheese dip mix home to NE this summer that the boys have been selling for camp at church- Wilson highly recommends it to everyone who stops by the table after morning services.

Gotta love an expressive boy, that Cal! ♥
