innocent he is not. . .

The troublesome toddlerisms are making a comeback in our house...
A month or two ago Jude dismembered one arm off of my ever-so-necessary glasses--which I've been wearing a lot thanks to weird hormones that dry out my eyes and make contacts uncomfortable. Thankfully the amazing eye doctor--or, rather eyeglasses doctor successfully transplanted a substitute and resuscitated the glasses. (Since my prescription changes during pregnancy, I wasn't about to spend money on new ones only for the last few months of my last pregnancy...)
Well this morning the little mechanic amputated the other arm, and after a trip across town with all the kids, fighting for a parking spot and herding them all inside, we received news that there was no donor available. So...frustratingly, we are on the waiting list, unless I can located a working piece in our house. Or worse yet, "Urkel-ize" my glasses with tape to be as geeky as humanly possible for the next several months till my eyes return to normal.

Oh I'm so sorry! I'm even choking back my laugh so you can't hear me. Will we be getting a preview of your Urkel glasses on Sunday? Now that'll be worth hunting you down for! HEE! Sorry my friend; but he's WAY too cute to be mad at. Right?

Oh no! This whole situation is just not funny......but when I read "Urkel-ize" I just had to chuckle. And Jude sitting there with that pathetic look on his face...complete with cookie crumbs.....Oh my!

p.s. even though it's a sad sight that picture of your glasses is pretty cool....reflection, bokeh

Oh I'm so sorry Anna!! I hope you can figure out a solution that DOESN'T involve scotch tape. (Jude does look awfully cute sitting in the chair though--almost forgivable) ;o)
