We had to employ damage control yet again today for what we thought was a broken toilet. The plumber came for something that should have been a quick fix...what started as a clogged toilet, then Andy noticed one of the pieces inside the tank was leaking explosively (no doubt broken from the extremely high frequency of flushing). The plumber came with a few parts, then had to resort to the toilet auger, shop vac, and finally removing the toilet for the final excavation of (drum roll, please). . . a plastic orange ball. After much lecturing and appropriate discipline, Calvin is very, very clear on NOT to flush ANYTHING--even toilet paper--without our permission. He will also be paying us back $133.39 with interest over the next 15 years. It's time he finds more fruitful activities to entertain, like coloring on walls or dumping out puzzle boxes.

Oh dear. I do declare you have me beat on toilet issues. ;o) Here's to hoping this lesson finally hit the mark . . . Either that or one of you needs to go back to school to learn the fine art of plumbing! Just think of all the money you would save (and need I remind you Jude hasn't discovered how entertaining the potty can be?). Hope your day goes better!
Oh boy......kids are sure expensive, aren't they? And it doesn't get any better the older they get!
That's a great idea! By the way there is about 20 years of accrued interest on the bill for getting the blow comb attachment out of our toilet. How about you just have Calvin make his payments direct to us.........
Yes, and we never did find out who put in the weebles orange table, that caused us to have to remove the toilet and take outside and turn upside down...to finally fall out. We just know that this, too, is somewhere in the genes on daddy's side of the family... =)
We had to take the toliet off and aug it out @ least 3 times when Sean was little. Anything from veggietale toys, happy meal toys, balls, and oh yes the walmart sack stuck in our pipes! The plumber and us became real good friends! We would lecture and discipline, but never fails he would do it again! Got to love little boys!
Love the comments from the g-parents and Calvin's facial expression in the picture is priceless!
