busy little bees

Need to catch up with you all but have been a little busy lately...here's what the kids have been up to: Jude still loves to eat and has been VERY active crawling, climbing stairs and trying to keep up with the big kids. At time he gets impatient with regular crawling and gets up from his knees to his hind feet for a bear crawl...less efficient but he's getting there.
Calvin has been a little easier on Jude lately and back to his usual sunny disposition (praise the Lord for a new 'normal' with him!). Here he's sporting a spaghetti sauce "5 o'clock shadow": And my little Cami girl is spunky as ever:
She came up with this idea completely on her own, locating the skewers and then the Cheer.ios and cranberries to kabob them with. She does have that party-planning knack...she'll often talk about the amazing birthday cake that she is going to have this Spring. At first it was chocolate-chip-marshmallow-candy and gumdrops. The most recent version is a twirly-whirly lollipop rainbow cake. YUM...I can't wait for her to make that. And she still--once in awhile--will get worn out enough for that afternoon snooze.
We are officially at 4 days and counting until we embark on our most exciting vacation ever with the kids (there's an airplane ride involved, and they can't wait!) ..going down South to see the folks and Andy's brother's fam, and friends too. We plan to hike, play and spend lots of time outside. I hope you all have a great rest of the week!

Love the idea of Cami as a party-planner. That actually sounds like a tasty kebob--kind of a "trail mix" version. ;o) I do hope you guys have a wonderful flight and trip--sunshine sounds soooo good!

Hope you have a great trip!! How fun for the kiddos to go on a plane!! Love the contrast between the two boys (whose mess looks so familiar) and the clean little girl. :)
