Our zoo trip today had something new...every time we're there they have a different critter to pet...normally it's a bunny or something sweet, but today it was a RAT. (Sorry Mom, I hope you don't disown your granddaughter--she'll miss you). I was creeped out myself...I think enough of the rodent-phobia has been passed along, but some of you know how my mom has a real problem with mice and all things rodent-like....anyway, the lady assured me that domestic rats aren't that bad. Maybe you can get a few for the farm, Dad? ... it might help control that kitty-problem. :)

Oh..I'm glad Rylie didn't ask this Grammy to do that when I was there...b/c I'd have been hard pressed to even get NEAR enough to take a picture! GOOD JOB ANNA!!!
It's adorable!!! Seriously, if you've seen Ratatouille, he looks just like that, with the little rounded ears and furry body... aw.
I'm stopping now :D
Oh my....I'm sorry...this Grammy is not for the rat thing either! Makes my spine shiver...
But glad it was a good time!! =)
Like major UGH!!!
The curious thing will be to see what Cami is like when she's older. Will she become squealie and squeamish? Especially with a brother to torment her with gross things in the years to come!
Ha! My kids have touched that same rat (I think) and made their Mimi shiver!!! I'm always glad they have the hand washing station CLOSE by!!!!!!
Yikes! I'm speechless!
