Little Dolly. What a sweetheart you are becoming.

At this middling age, you are thoughtful, responsible, obedient. You listen well and follow through on tasks. And you are overcoming the shy stage.

You enjoy your church friends a lot, and still adore Charlie the leopard gecko. You've been progressing in gymnastics, tried a little volleyball, and had your first solo in the girls choir this year. You excel at reading music--and books. Sometimes you say goodnight to us immediately after supper because of your plans to read all evening by lamplight in your room.

You like to be in control of those emotions, and we value that quality in this house! We let you get your ears pierced a few months back, and now you are loving all of the interesting, fun, and crazy earrings to try, along with cute hair scrunchies and toenail paint. You are becoming a little lady.

More than anything we want you to pursue the inner beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, and obedience to the Word of God. We are praying that these important lessons are sinking in to your young heart as you are learning to live your life to the glory of God.
