Punky Poo. What happened to you? We ask you almost daily to remain a baby, and you wholeheartedly refuse. In sheer rebellion you display a variety of grown up traits including good listening skills (a hot commodity in this house!) and an articulateness when arguing a case or making a point. You demonstrate detail-oriented responsibility in many areas including chores, cooking, and following multi-step directions.
You've proven your academic prowess in all subjects (boy, do I love having you home for school!) and are also expanding your artistic repertoire with an ability to draw delightful and interesting little girl characters. While answering birthday interview questions recently, you said your best friend is Naomi, your favorite food pizza, and your favorite book the Beatrix Potter Treasury. You say it makes you happy when you get tucked into bed at night by your dad or me. And waving good-bye *every* time somebody leaves the house makes you the official single-handed send-off committee.
What I love about you at this age is your sprightly personality that's been mellowed with a sweetness and considerateness that wasn't always there. You're learning to be a young thinker and a little person who cares about others.
We pray that your sweet spirit would be fueled by a love for Jesus and a true faith that is the source of true life...we want God's best for you. A genuine life of faith through repentance so you can experience true joy and happiness in life.
We love you, pretty dolly.
