A decade. That's how long ago you came into our world and added a whole new wonderful demension to life. Even now as I have a sense of time slipping away before my eyes, I'm loving having you at home during the day. You've proven to be quite diligent with your school work, and your strong independent streak has proven helpful in getting homeschool done when I'm preoccupied elsewhere.
You still have a playful side (especially when little tots are around)
And yet your young ladyness is coming out too--not just with your looks, but with your manners.
Your artistic side is always developing as you create art books for Jada, or sometimes write illustrated storybooks for your brothers.
And I think your understanding is growing, both of God's Word and God's World. You love nature and have an eye for detail, in noticing the little things that God made.
As you spring into these looming years of change, our desire only grows that you would seek the Lord with your whole heart. The God that created this beautiful world seeks to change your life from the inside out--as you continue your pursuit in understanding His Word and living a godly life. And obedience to Him will lead to joy and satisfaction of life.

I'm a bit late, but happy birthday to your sweet girl! Ten hit me hard when Marissa hit that age. Crazy how fast it goes. Beautiful young lady you have there!
