Last week the kids and I hit this beautiful spot on our way home:
There's something about a nice downhill slope that makes a kid want to run:
pond-watching
lovely hummingbird:
delicate blooms:
The other day, I noticed a bowl with dirt in it. Which is strange, considering I haven't fed the kids dirt recently. Hmmm....
Having fun dressing up:
Posted on Cami's door. I'm glad she added #6 and 7, in case anyone might thing she was on the strict side...
And the last couple days I've been enjoying some calmer kids, as they have spent hours outside harvesting bugs and playing in the sand....there is something so good about kids being outside.

Love the Sunken Gardens--keep driving by and saying "we need to stop" but haven't yet. Maybe this weekend... Cami's list had me giggling--good rules. ;o) And I am thankful for this last week of beautiful July weather and all the time spent outdoors--good for the soul!
I adore Cami's list of rules. "be the fruits of the spirit." You just can't wrong with that one. But, apparently, even that has it's limits when it comes to little brothers. ;)
Methinks Calvin has a look of "I just did something naughty" or "I am about to do something naughty" in the sandbox picture....hmmm. Tell Andy I miss him at WF. Love the blog so I can see what the kiddos are up to. Beth Bartels
