snow sculptures, child chef, lego love, and fancy fants

Cami made snowkid models of the four of them...here she is with her cold-weather clone:
 snowJada and snowJude:
 snowCalvin is not pictured, but here's the real guy flipping an egg (that he cooked entirely by himself).  He left it a bit too long and was disappointed in the lack of yolky-ness, but that hasn't stopped him from asking to cook about every day.  I'm glad for another foodie in the house.  In fact, I have big plans to get the kids cooking and prepping food more on their own.  Boy, am I glad I got a close-up of my morning kitchen:
 Pertaining to last week's posting in getting outside more:
 That was the day it went from cold + 5 inches of snow on the ground to 60 + 5 inches of melt.
My Judester has been really into spiking his hair--perhaps because of his recent lessons from his stylist (Cami), and perhaps because we encourage his brother's curls to go "up" instead of down.  So he's been trying out new looks:
The incredible lego kangaroo he built {almost} all by himself...with very little help from me.  His pun of the week: after hearing the phrase "sick bug going around," he said, "What?!  --so there's a bug going around with puke coming out of his mouth?!"

And my littlest peanut has reached the age of helpfulness (insert my jumping up and down celebrating this moment).  She cleaned up her own popcorn mess the other day.  We're working on the bring-the-vacuum-TO-the-mess concept, but she was having fun picking up the popcorn by hand and watching it get sucked up into the vacuum.
 She's at that stage of verbal cuteness where letters are substituted for lack of ability:
basement = base nit
sausage = shausage
table = tay-vole
...and the alphabet according to Jada:
L is for a Cup
A is for Rhinoceros
J is for Fan
and O is for Leg
Instead of the "play-time, play-time, kitty-cat" song it's "pray-time, pray-time..." (which is also very important), and if you ask her, she has bronde hair.  She also has a silly and meaningless phrase that she says in the most delightful whisper with big eyes, holding her hand over her mouth:  "Shh-shh! --Fancy Fants."
I believe she is wearing her fancy fants here, along with a mismatched top, sunglasses, smoothie face, and half-braided hair.  If we all could look so lovely in such a get up:
 Love her.  Girl after my own heart.

Love that Cami is building snowmen in short sleeves! Yay for cooking boys, spiked her, and what appears to be a ham of a littlest girl. I keep thinking Jada is your baby (and I know she still is) but looks like you have a little lady with a spunky personality on your hands (and not so much a wee cuddly baby!!). ;o)
