A lot of life has happened in the last few weeks (I should really get on here a bit more often...) First up is Cam's new 'do (lime green day at Girls of Grace):
A welcome visit from their Aunt Kristin (at a rather uncooperative moment from the boys):
A warning from my wary and wide-eyed Calvinator, after a safety lesson at school:
And a pleasant and polite notification from him concerning his naughty younger brother:
Their contention was so intense one day it landed them in my brand new get-along t-shirt (online idea), and as they dragged each other around, tripping, crying, and mourning this very fitting punishment, I couldn't help but feel satisfied at their being adhered to one another until said problems were worked out.
*SO* much wrong with this picture. This depicts the moment when Jude's PB craving reaches such a level that there's no time to sit up to the table. So the stepstool gets moved from the bathroom to the kitchen area where foot traffic is the most heavy in the morning. And left there for me to trip over. (And yes, I had already fed him an adequate breakfast.)
But at least he's fueled up for creative endeavors such as this block kitty:
...and playing this little homemade banjo (paintstick, plate, and rubber bands):
Our littlest spunky monkey has been hard at work these days too. Her first painting--she was rather enthusiastic.
And my band-aid bandit has been busy breaking into the band-aids. She proudly desplays her booty:
...more of her "work." It was her favorite book (If You Give a Mouse a Cookie).
And her musical "composition" of late:
I'll be anxiously awaiting offers to babysit this 2 1/2 year old--call me.

Love Calvin's pictures/signs! I've always wondered if the "sharing a shirt" punishment worked. If you give it a thumbs up I might have to try that one. ;o) And I feel your pain over torn books and drawn on pianos . . . I think we are finally past all that, but I'm not going to hold my breath. ;o)
"Your kid is noty. Thanks" LOL
I bet you never sit around and wonder what to do, do you? If you run out of things to do, just pull out the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and work on those piano keys. ;)
bananas and band-aids...these are great (and so messy) times! Loved seeing you all in Oct! ~kris
