wildlife

Some snaps that haven't yet made it to blogdom:  in the last couple weeks before school we squeezed in a lot of fun, including a visit to the zoo/aquarium:
One of my fav's: rhinos.  Jada's sporting her angry rhino face here (we were approaching mid afternoon):
Do the math, and a short while later this happens:
A few more shots of our last-minute family reunion down at my brother's.  The kids love their uncles and pretty much view them as celebrities.  Even better when they're taken frog hunting:
We left with more refined palates, after sampling frog legs.  (No, not these frogs..)  Turns out they taste just like chicken.  *wink*  Well, more like chicken and fish together, all in the same bite.
 Isn't he pretty?
Perhaps if they kiss, they'll prince and princess-ify themselves:
And the last little wildlife--or rather childlife snap--all 8 cousins together for the first time.  We were blessed with two new babes this year.  It's a good thing too, because there were a lot of us elbowing each other out of the way to get to hold them.
*SUCH* a fun time.  :)

Yes! I've had frog legs at the hand of a brother as well. ;o) I agree pretty much like chicken. LOVE the picture of all the cousins--how fun that all of you could get down there together!!

The picture of Calvin dangling the frog just cracks me up.....it's as if that frog is about to speak! haha! Fun to see your end of summer adventures.
