the j's and the calvinator

So far, my snap-a-day resolution is rather anemic.  Today I thought of it at lunchtime and captured this:  a table for two tots.
This last week has found me pondering just how, in fact, an ink pen stain comes to be on a toilet lid.  Along with toothpaste.  Hmm.  Several things wrong with that scenario.  I think this child might have had something to do with it:
Above he is pictured with this genius idea:  "Can you help me move this counter? I want to put it in a different spot."

He was also found repeatedly asking for a "pet chick-munk" over and over, asking how old he has to be before he can get one.  And he has an odd aspiration:  "I hope sometime I can be fat. [and when I began to correct him, he said]  ...yeah!  Because I want my friends to laugh at me."

Some of his colorful Kindergarten artwork.  They do these "storybook pages" at school, narrating a scene.
While singing P-I-Z-Z-A to the B-I-N-G-O tune, he writes, "I went to the library.  We read a book!  It was awesome!"

And above, "I have a Christmas tree in my room.  It glows up at night."

And finally. . . just what every proud parents wants to see come home from their kid's creative and industrious day away at school:
I'll let you interpret that one yourself...the very graphic picture explains further if you're having trouble.

Well, at least he admits that pooping in his pants, is, in fact, gross. Though he looks a little too happy in his drawing...

Well...besides the last topic...:-), I still love the way Calvin sounds out his words. It shows how his little brain is working on those words. Hang in there, Mom! Your posts always give me a big smile. :-)
