Hello again! I hope you'll forgive my longer-than-normal absence. We had a lingering bug moving through, coupled with the holiday busies and trying to recover from it all. It's January! I've made a few resolutions this year, along the lines of complaining less, having a more devoted prayer life, and taking advantage of sermon listening during cleaning/chore time at home.
We had a fun Christmas and nice times with family...my favorite Christmas surprise? Yet another baby coming soon...due in July! Along with my nephew (yes, we know it's a nephew now!) in May. TWO babies. We're all excited.
To be clear, these two babies are of my older and middle brothers and their wives, not ours! ...I need to clarify when it comes to these things. ;)
Here's our typical let's-take-a-shot-for-tradition's-sake-as-we're-running-out-the-door-to-the-Christmas-Eve-service picture:
I'm not sure if it's due to the cold weather, or the influx of stickers, but our house has turned into one big arts & crafts project. I'm daily picking stickers and tape off of the bottom of my socks, scraping them off of wood floors, cabinets, countertops, clothing, carseats, books, toys, and children. Here is yet another one of Calvin's smart ideas:
During Christmas break, Andy and I enjoyed a few days with the kids on their own little vacation to Gramma & Papa's farm. Cami and Calvin took up snowboarding while out there:
Jada's craft project...if you've seen this before, you know it's not worth trying to salvage unrolled aluminum foil.
A sale-worthy masterpiece. And in case you missed his three signatures, "Calvin Jroo this picsher."
Christmas morning fun...I sure wish I got more of those stick-on mustaches. Well worth the $2 in entertainment value.
Cami "the musician." Dressed like this, she really will be a starving artist someday.
I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year...I'm always glad to start a fresh new year and be in the midst of planning, organizing, improving...and a routine is always good too. Have a great week!

Clarification . . . the July baby isn't yours is it?? Didn't know if that was *your* Christmas surprise . . . hehehe ;o)
I missed your bloggy updates and it is fun to see what your kids are up to (ALWAYS busy they are!!). Laughing at Cami, the starving artist. ;o)
Yes to a new year of planning, organizing, and improving!!
The glasses and stache on Jude is *hilarious* and Nathan once received a roll of foil in his Christmas stocking because i was tired of him taking mine all the time for his "projects."
LOL to Janna's first comment, too. Everyone time you announce a baby on your blog I have to reread to make sure I'm not missing something regarding *you* :)
