randomness and a winner of a winter

A smattering of our last week...a lego creation (we've also had a few Lego Nativity scenes, a Lego monster and a "Christmas house" that did not get photographed):
Flat Stanley visited from South Carolina (it's a pen pal activity)...Cami made him a friend, Flat Stella that will travel back with him.
Jada, looking all grown-up in her too-small PJs, after a floor-wiping session.
And (sound the fanfare...) we had our first blizzard--hooray!  A nice snow day off from school with 7 inches to go sledding in.  Jada tolerated the sled rides, but was content to sit on my lap while the kids ran up and rode down the hill.
Have a blessed Christmas!  And a happy New Year if I'm not back in time...a special time to reflect on the miracle of Christ's coming to earth, after leaving the glories of heaven to save fallen mankind.  May you have time to celebrate the true CHRISTmas this season.
