school days

My 2nd grader:
 and Kindergartener:
I'm regretful over not leaving earlier this morning (what am I, a rookie?)...I thought I'd go the extra mile and walk sprint the kids to their doors and teachers.  The bell rang while we were still a block away, so we made a run for it in our signature chaotic fashion (baby-on-hip, hoping Jude was close behind).  In retrospect I could have handled that better.  But at least we took time for our little front-step tradition:
With the youngest trainee learning to join in the "Cheese" chorus:
Hope all the school kids (and our homeschool friends) are off to a good start!

Thank you for the visual of you running to school with four children in tow--made my day. ;o) I hope Calvin enjoys his very first day!

I pray the day went well for C & C! I like how Calvin's backpack is just about bigger than he is. ;)

I agree with the above comments. :-) And Jada's expression in the last pic is priceless! Hope the school year goes well for you, esp Calvin. By the way, I remember when Andy was in 2nd grade - he and Greg Williams already had a reputation! I wonder if Calvin will carry on the tradition. :-)
