Each year we get geared up for Vacation Bible School at church. It was a fun week, and always wears them out a bit too--which is good and bad, depending on whether you're considering naptimes or squabbles. Here they are all dressed up in theme for the big concert:
Here's a sampling of things to give you an idea:
Child #2 {sobbing cry of injustice} "Mom, Cami smiled at me!!"
Child #3 "Mom, Calvin won't play with me!"
Child #2 and Child #4 batting at each other during lunch
Child #3 "Calvin, are you going to play with me--NOT Cami?"
Child #1 was an eager participant in the excitement too.
The kids were also very thoughtful and washed the van for me with the hose.... while it was inside the garage.
Calvin recently retrieved the hammer to nail his VBS craft into his wall.
And the boys have been going through multiple outfits per day. I no longer ask Calvin to water the flowers.
Here's Calvin during an unfortunate experiment.
And last weekend's bike ride...about 7 miles total. We trekked out to a restaurant and back home. Calvin works the hardest in his single-gear 16-inch bike.
That was our week in snapshots! Hope your week was full of fun too. ;)

That bike trek looks like an adventure! maybe you just need a drain vent in your garage...? :)

I got such a kick out of Calvin up there in his knight costume (what a fun costume that was too!!). Love the picture of your biking caravan--what an endeavor!! I can't believe Calvin can bike that far on his little bike!!
