Psalm 139:13-15
"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret,
and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance."
One year ago. After a long pregnancy, you made your fashionably late entrance into the world.
You were 9 lbs, 4 oz and the relief of hearing you cry overwhelmed me with joy and thanksgiving. A healthy baby girl! You were the missing puzzle piece to our fivesome bunch. And you set shocking records, sleeping through the night at 2 weeks...and almost never crying. Over the course of your first year you proved to be my happiest babe, often melting an unsuspecting bystander when you stuck your head right in their face to break out your biggest and best smile.
Your straight and VERY blonde hair was a fun surprise...along with your playful demeanor and your ability to 'visit' and be social in a crowd.
At one year, we are loving your go-getter drive
And your rough & tumble playfulness.
You continue to entertain and amaze us, causing us to wonder at the Lord's goodness and creativity in making you just the way you are. Watching you participate in the miracle of learning and growing is truly wonderful.
May you always be this sweet and cheerful...and may you come to salvation at an early age, understanding the brevity of life and your need for a Savior.

Happy birthday Miss Jada!! I can hardly believe it has been a year already--as I'm sure it makes your head spin too! Have fun celebrating with your precious little girl (and let the birthday craziness commence at your household . . . ). ;o) She sure got a GORGEOUS day for a brithday!
Happy day to your little dollie!! I *love* those ultrasound pictures where we get a glimpse of God's knitting together. I will admit when I read the title of this post and saw the ultrasound I forgot about Jada's birthday and thought you were making a surprise announcement about a new little baby! :) :) Hope you all had a great day celebrating your precious girl!
