I'm sure you all are as impressed as I am with the small strapping superhero I have the joy of watching every day:
He's grown up quite a bit over the last month and has shown some independence with being potty trained, and even picking up a room all on his own. And just this morning (while left unattended for roughly 20 minutes), he boldly and courageously acted on his lionhearted instinct and spoon-fed his baby sister her squash. By the looks of things, he might have gotten bored half way through and let her fend for herself:
It was smeared on toys and all over her chin and shirt, contributing to our carpet's luster. But the fact that he did her hair and put a barrette on the back of her head was a true act of heroism.
And here's the little sis, ready to sprint. She mostly army-crawls around and is getting quick at scooting across the room to access a toy she has her eye on. The big kids are all SO impressed with her newfound talent that they gasp and shout "Look at Jada!!" every time she's on the move.
It really is exciting. Hope your week is exciting too!

Yikes. Better hang on to that carpet shampoo coupon we have...
I'm thinking Jude's t-shirt says it all. ;o) Can't believe Jada is nearly on the move! I think that is one of the most fun things as the kids get older--seeing their awe and appreciation of the little people in the family. Have fun with all the shenanigans. ;o)
This post makes me think 3 things:
#1 my little guys used to wear swimming goggles for practically every costume they created and it always cracked me up!!!
#2 Jada is a dollie and she's growing so fast
#3 Jude should not be left unattended for 20 minutes. haha!
