one of THOSE weeks...

With the bid kids off to school, I thought I'd get a sweet picture of the Little's...here's how it went down: Big-Little complacently agrees to hold Little-Little, while she is a little too tired for smiles at the moment.

Take 2: Little-Little has a very temporary fix of a thumb in her mouth while Big-Little is barely holding onto his neutral face (smothered in blueberry stains from the muffins we ate an hour before): Take 3/final take: giving up all hope

If you're wondering what else went on this last week, our van battery died a slow and painful death while we were humorously jump-started by a Dod.ge Charger.

The potty training has come to a halt since the Trainee has not expressed any recent interest, and after a pooh-flinging incident (back yard, pooh coming out of shorts, big brother acts on limited problem-solving skills and flings it into the neighbor's yard while they mowed), not to mention the giant foot-scab that came off later that day decorating our carpet with blood...I guess you could say that I wasn't in the mood for more forced potty training.

The upside of all of this is that my giant hydrogen peroxide bottle was available for blood clean-up, my child is very unconstipated (yep, it's that flax), and the pooh was retrieved without the neighbor's knowledge...a good save, since they were the ones to later jump-start.
