Happy birthday to my sweet hubs! He's turning 35 today:
Other news: summer is slipping away with school starting 4 weeks from tomorrow. Cami will be in 1st grade and Calvin will be starting preschool. I'm excited for them, but wishing for more time. In these last 4 weeks we're packing a lot in. Cami is now out West on my parents' farm for several days enjoying new baby kitties, swimming, irragating corn, and learning to ride bike without training wheels. (!) Andy's sister's fam is back from the Carolinas for a few weeks so we've been enjoying them too, and VBS is all next week (hooray!). We're also squeezing in a few guitar lessons for Cami, and some fun things like family swim night at a local pool/splash park and a trip to the fair. The grand finale for our summer will be a trip to the exciting city of Des_Moines for a day at Adventure.land--a theme park with lots of small-child rides and plenty of waterpark fun. We'll also hit this zoo (free admission with our local membership-yay!), visit some friends, and (if I can talk Andy into it) go the farmer's market. It'll be a fun little weekend break before we all have to get into a routine again.

Your vacation sounds great and a good distance to attempt with at new baby. ;o) We'll have to check that out sometime!
