love and war
We've all been stealing snuggles from the baby-est of the bunch and enjoying her newborn sweetness. Here she with another full belly...the poor thing eats till she's literally overflowing with goodness...she's begun to soak everything around her, just like the rest of our babes did. She's just sharing the love.
I wish I could say that the theme around our house lately was LOVE...the kids test each other's patience (and mine) throughout the day. We're doing our best to train them, discipline, and teach them to love each other. A little extra rest doesn't hurt either. (Naps are one of God's many gifts to mothers.) And once in awhile I'll find written evidence of a little sweetness from my Cami girl:
The boys? They prefer to show their affections a little more violently...
And with a mom who forces them into the same small space for pictures, they are forced to get along. At least part of the time.
The boys? They prefer to show their affections a little more violently...

Adorable note from Cami!! I don't know if it is just me, but Sunday's sermons left me inspired to being doing a better job with my kiddos, and then Monday dawned and they were awful. And Tuesday, no better. I couldn't help but remind myself what an intense job parenting is when you are really trying to do it right. (and yes, naps are much deserved) ;o)
Cute pics of all your munchkins!!
I smile as I read this and praise God for family, too. I remember those busy days, and as I look at that sweet photo of Andy holding Jada, I am amazed how it seems only a couple years ago, we held HIM on our laps like that, and he is now the daddy to all those sweet, wild, munchkins! love you all, too... mom =)
Okay, Janna! DITTO your comment!!!!! I was so inspired by Sunday's message and them ~~PLOOF~~ along came Monday, Tuesday, etc etc. I've been praying for strength amidst the battle to do the job well!
Sandy.....your words made me tear up!! My mom would often sing the song from Fiddler on the Roof "Sunrise, Sunset" and I would roll my eyes. Now I know what she meant!! The days are long sometimes but the years are fast!!
Anna.....your munchkins are darling and the energy just kind of leaps out of your blog. ;) You have your hands blessedly full and your gracious, Godly spirit never ceases to bless my heart!
p.s. Your boys and their public displays of "affection" are so eerily similar except for the fact that I have 1 more body thrown in the mix. haha!
makes me miss you all EVEN more! :) Cami's note is so precious- I love the cap sleeves on her female character, too!
