And finally breaking outside when the weather allowed.
We've seen a little more of the little guy's furrowed brows than desired..shall we chalk it up to being sick? I'm sure it's not the terrible 2's, as Jude *ahem* has agreed to give me the season off with that.
Other happenings: they've all spurted through another clothing size in the last month or so, forcing me to get organized and deal with the extra expense of Jude not staying on track with my other average-sized kids...the burly beast is barely 1 size behind big brother and just 5 lbs away from matching his weight. There's a good reason he loves to wrestle. ;)
As for me, I've been celebrating the final four. No, not basketball--my final four weeks (or 28 days..or 672 hours) till our final fourth Spring chicken is due to hatch...I've had a few odd dreams--one where she busted out foot-first through my belly button, causing the disappointed realization that I wouldn't be able to have a natural birth. ..and another one that I wish would come true: I labored for all of 1 hour, to have her literally fall out at the end.
Ya, I'm sure it'll happen like that.
While we're considering the really fun things of pregnancy/birth, I could mention my 60 lb weight gain (again)...or my disturbingly large spider vein problem on my calf. I really don't wish to be vain about my veins--but I am hoping to wear shorts again sometime in this life. Maybe. All in all, it will be good to be done...and with another little doll to hold & kiss, it is worth every ounce of pain & bodily damage. The blessing is much bigger than the hardship.
Although I really don't want to be pregnant again.

Yay for the "final four." ;o) Pregnancy side-effects are rather discouraging, but I think you have grown some cute, bright, and extraordinarily healthy children. Sooooo, it's a fair trade . . . But I told Josh if I ever ended up with bad veins (and I've got some good heridity in their favor)that I WOULD be looking into their demise right quick. ;o) So, I definitely understand the "veinity." ;o) Here's to hoping yours automatically disappears upon delivery! I can't wait to meet the little lady!
Four weeks sounds like a short time.....this coming from me, the lady who can see her toes and bend over and sleep on her tummy. :) I know those last 4 weeks of pregnancy can be brutal.....God's way of preparing us to go through *whatever* it takes to get that baby here. :) Sorry for your vein issues. I remember lamenting some *serious* stretch marks in places that should. never. under. any. circumstances. stretch. that. much. haha! Praying for you on this "home stretch".....no pun intended. ;)
