11 days and counting down
This pregnancy (the one that would never end) is looking like it will finally be coming to a close. I'm finding much humor in others' remarks when they stare in disbelief with their jaw on the floor at the sheer size of my belly. ...Okay, maybe it's not that bad. But this was an actually recent comment: "When are you due?" ..and after I told her, her eyebrows went up, shaking her head... "Oh, I don't think you'll make it that long." . . .all while staring wide-eyed at my enormously round appendage.
Thanks. I'm feeling beautiful now.
Actually I'm not surprised, as I am the only one on the planet that believes I might go overdue. I'm thinking May 1 or 2, with an 8 1/2 to 9 pounder...(I'm taking bets, y'all). Andy is stuck on an April 30 date, and Calvin thinks she will be 40 lbs. Cami is probably somewhere in that ballpark based on this portrait:
At least I'm stylish in my slimming polka-dot dress and smokin hot "MOM" heels..as they're labeled. (I look this cute every day, really.) My dear hubby--who always seems to lose weight during my pregnancies--has a somewhat slimmer and more active portrait from the little miss:
I do believe that's a joker outfit with confetti flying in the air during a break-dance session. This is what we'll be busy with--waddling, break-dancing, and counting down these last days. . . take a stab and leave your weight & date guesses. Here are my stats:
Cami - 0 days overdue - 8 lbs even
Calvin - 4 days overdue - 8 lbs 2 oz
Jude - 2 days overdue - 9 lbs 2 oz

On your due date, May 1 (after we beat the guys in cards the night before!)
8lbs 7 oz.
Love all the pictures Cami drew!
1 day early, April 30, 9 lbs 1 oz
I was just thinking of you today and how close you were getting (but I know, I know, each day at this point is an eternity in and of itself). I'm going to agree with Andy, April 30th--because you DESERVE to go early at least once and because then you will have two April babies and two May. And I'm thinking 8 lbs 11 oz. But Calvin's guess of 40 lbs would be lovely . . . just think of what a headstart you would have on the post-pregnancy weight loss. ;o)
Well no wonder Andy is losin weight with his impressive pilates moves!!
My guess:
May 2nd early morning....so at least you start laboring on your due date. :)
8 lbs 8 oz
My guess---May 6th, Baby Girl, Weight 8 lb. 8 oz.---Why would this be my guess---cuz that's when my baby girl was born 39 years ago, and she weighed 8 lbs, 8 oz. Believe me when I tell you I didn't look as good and as cute as you do!!! Anxious to meet the latest Frahm. Carolyn
LOVE Cami's drawings so much! They make me smile every time. She is TRULY talented and I'm glad you take the time to share them here, Anna!
My guess is May 1 and at 8 1/2 lbs.
LOVE you!!!
April 30th and 8lb. 12oz. =) And you are beautiful all the time!
love, mom =)
I ALWAYS love Cami's pages! =)
I would only be close on date and weight. Although most everyday now, Dad wakes up and says, "today would be a good day for a new baby!"
And yes, you look beautiful!
It's almost over!!!! Yahoo!!! Like I told you at church the other week, it seemed to FLY by for me! :-) You're going to kill me, right? Well...I am just SO happy for you & can't wait to meet your newest little one! And in 7-8 months or so, she'll be with me in the crawlers' room - YAY!
April 29, 8lb 13 ox. :-)
Well, some of us don't have the privilage of SEEING YOU, so I can't guess a thing except I'll bet it's a girl! Ha!! And I still think May 3rd would be helpful to the Frahm grannyparents! Ha!! Prayin' you in! Someday I'll get back to bloggin' too. I seem to never have time to get it done! Love to you all this beautiful Easter Day!
I haven't had a chance to check your blog lately, but I always enjoy it IMMENSELY! :-) Cami's pictures are just so great, I could stare at them forever. :-) Was great to see you on Sunday...you look wonderful!
