my marvelous magnanimous mother

This workhorse of a woman packed up her cleaning supplies, dusting stick, and a prepared supper this morning to spend an entire day scrubbing, wiping, cleaning, and disinfecting every kind of surface inside our house. It was a humongous pre-baby-having gift to this tired pregnant daughter who can barely bend over to reach the floor. If cleanliness is really next to godliness, then I have lived an extremely heathen lifestyle the past few months--not that I didn't notice the dust & dirt, but was forced to appropriate limited time/energy resources to do higher-priority tasks (feed the crew, take care of sick kiddos, launder endless mounds of clothes/sheets)....but as of tonight the house is shockingly clean...and easily maintainable. I'm really not exaggerating when I say that our house has never been this clean before...thanks a million, Mom!!

Oh Anna--your alliterations, they KILL me (not, literally, but you know).;o)

Sooooo glad you're mom could help you out in that way--I hope it was just the pick-me-up you needed.

What a nice mom! :) Love it when moms come to help out before the baby!
