busy bees and blizzard busies

No school today, so we had a playdough-molding, cookie-baking, trouble-making play day at home today. After a taste test (why does he eat that stuff?) Jude was ready to mold...his pretty face decor is from a recent meeting with a parking lot surface. I snuck in a little sewing during naps while Cami kept me company crafting her own creation: a "fly trap" ..it's labeled "flys food" to lure them in, and just when they don't know what hit them, the masking tape seals the deal. Take that, flies!
Other events of the day: Calvin covering Jude's hair with handsoap and subsequently spraying him with water, burning his eyes with soap. Jude splashed and played in very yucky and unflushed toilet water...unnoticed, so between lunch and his thumb-sucking, well...let's just be glad it was our own toilet. The kids played and played--poodle hide-and-go-seek (where instead of counting you say "ruff" over and over), they ran all over the house, created many messes, and to my delight cleaned up about all of them at my prompting. I'm seeing them learn to get along more and more and become better friends, and also become more responsible around the house. It's a good stage.
The belly continues to grow and I'm already extremely limited with bending over--I can't imagine how pathetic I will look/sound in another 3 months. I'm working out most days (with all those cold & flu bugs behind us--hooray!) and stretching, although it doesn't help with the bending over problem. I'm often feeling old/tired/sore, but am counting down the last 12 and 1/2 weeks and will (surprisingly) welcome this closed-chapter of baby-bearing years, as much fun as it's been. Onto the next stage with hopefully more energy.. .and a little more caffeine. ;)

Have I ever told you that your titles never fail to elicit a smile from me? Because they do. ;o) I am still wincing at Jude's poor little face. And I feel your toilet pain. I'm just thankful I have a very high "gag" threshhold. ;o)

You're looking great with 12 weeks to go! And way to go with the working out . . . I struggle to remain consistent not pregnant. ;o)

Twelve more weeks, that's IT?! (You're going to kill me, right?) If you're like me...every day is torture - ugh! No but really...your pregnancy has flown by for me! LOL! :-) I was so happy to hear from you, and it was great to get caught up on your blog too. Looks like you guys have been having fun during those snow days. I told my kids if there was one more snow day, I was dropping them off at school anyway.

Hope you're feeling good (as good as you can be)...and you're getting close, my friend!!! XOXO
