sad family news

James LeRoy Luff

We were grieved to find out of my grandpa Jim's passing a few days ago...several health issues contributed, but ultimately we know the Lord ordained this timing. He was so loved and will be greatly missed. Here's a favorite memory that always makes me smile:
He had not held a baby for a REALLY long time (and to be honest we had to force him a little since he didn't feel comfortable) but he loved it, and I think the expression on his face says it all.
Thanks, everyone for your prayers and encouraging words over the last few days. Our comfort is in the Lord, in His word, and His perfect and sovereign plan. Praise the Lord for His perfect will.

oh anna..I'm so sorry to read this! Loosing a grandparent is loosing a bit of history and a lot of LOVE! He sure looked happy holding onto those little babies!!

This has been a rough year up here too...and I know of so many dear ones who have passed on in the last few months. I'm ready for Spring..and new life!!

Speaking of new life...how are you feeling by now??
love you, c

So sorry for your sad news, Anna and for your mom as she grieves the loss of her daddy! What a *precious* picture to cherish.

That is a wonderful picture to have as a memory--praying for you and your family as you remember his life. Hugs.
