Day 14: Gingerbread playdough (again)...I had intended to make peppermint playdough but in the midst of a catch-up/project/cleaning/laundry day I opted for the easy way out:
And today's project was a paper chain garland:
I hate to admit to reality, but the project lasted about 5 minutes and ended with throwing my oldest un-napped child in bed. We seem to have caught an odd bug that causes incessant fussing in the house...it's uncanny the way they tag-team cry...in any case, I think some extra rest will fix the problem.
Tomorrow they're opening Christ is Born--a beautiful illustrated Scripture book with the account from Luke Chapter 2.

Ha! We've been dealing with more crying jags too (mainly from Jackson)--it got me to thinking about the inordinate amount of sweets we have *possibly* been consuming lately. ;o) Don't know if that's the case for you or not, but I do think that affects him a lot. Here's to happy days tomorrow!!!
I love the admission of reality! It makes me feel a bit better when projects don't go as planned over here. BTW, Calvin has some seriously good hair.
