This last weekend we had some fun-filled days: drive-through meal and Christmas lights tour Friday night--our favorite was a massive display of blinking lights sychronized with a home-broadcast of Christmas songs just outside of town (WOW!)...Saturday night was a Nativity movie night eating in front of the T.V., last night was a really cute children's Christmas concert at church, and today was gingerbread train day: The only casualties were 1 broken gingerbread piece and an emergency tweezer extraction of a tortilla piece shoved in an ear. On an unrelated note, did you know that thigh-high moon boots are the new hot fashion trend? Better go out and grab yourself a pair. And I am pleased to announce my childrens' newfound exercise corner where much jumping, bouncing, and rolling (with minimal tears) is involved:
Boy am I glad for them to get some exercise...since that leads to better sleep and happier dispositions. We've been in a rut of 6:30 (or sometimes earlier) bedtimes. That's right--you should give it a try. With it getting dark so early they don't know the difference...although it can backfire on an occasional late night. Tonight I'm letting them party late. . .at least until 7:00. ;)

I *so* miss the days when my boys didn't know how to tell time and I could get them in bed early. :) And it's so nice to see I'm not the only one with trampoline couch cushions!

Your weekend highlights sound so fun and Cami was sure a cute little angel on stage last night!! :)

Yep, I think I might love fall/winter nights more for that reason--and even though the girls can tell time, they will go to their room and read/draw, so a win-win for all! ;o)

Josh harbors a secret wish to do a light display like that some year . . . We shall see. ;o)
