courageous grandparents...and other tidbits

Today is the first "Grand" overnighter to Omaha with grandparents & the big grandkids. The activities are perfectly suited for 3-5 year-olds: swimming at the hotel, followed by a Spaghetti.Works dinner and 101.Dalmation movie at the hotel. Tomorrow they'll be hitting some indoor zoo exhibits and possibly an I.MAX show. They don't know it yet, but this is going to be a monthly affair. ;)
And other odds & ends from our week: our Saturday morning breakfast, fully prepared by the kids--the table was full of cereal, milk, filled water glasses, and side dishes of banana chunks and torn-up bread pieces.

Sounds like you have good little breakfast fixers--before you know it Cami can man the morning and you can sleep in (which will come in handy after a certain wee one arrives next spring). ;o)

If your parents ever need a few extra grandkids for these overnighters, let me know, I can share. ;o)
