spunky monkey

Calvin: "Look, I have a noodle in my pocket."
Whether it's stashing supper in his pocket or bouncing off the walls, this kid has an endless to-do list of fun activities. He loves to eat food right off of Jude's tray when I'm not looking...and also enjoys being chased by Cami (while screaming at the top of his lungs). He is getting smarter in so many ways and growing up despite my denying it. The other day he felt compelled to warn me not to 'swip' on the wet bathroom floor. "Don't swip, Mom--you can swip like dis." (wide-eyed while pretend-slipping). And one of my favorite stages is when they're learning language and putting their own thoughts and words together--this is what he said the other day in the car: "Look, Mom! A gee! I see a gee flying!!" (You know, 1 "gee," 2 geese)...you have to give him credit, his reasoning is good.

LOVE your new header Anna! And a "gee" makes perfect sense to me--smart boy! Now the noodle in the pocket . . . that is different. ;o) How boring life would be without boys!
