time

Another busy week, and I'm again behind on the blog...but the good news is that my house is in order (well, it was for about 30 seconds on Tuesday afternoon). I've been in a state of re-assessing things--how I spend my time, responsibilities at home, priorities, things like that....I've had certain goals lately that I've been trying to tackle...probably the most important being establishing a more purposeful prayer/devotion time during the afternoon naps. The Lord has impressed on my heart the brevity of life and the importance of spending my time wisely. Life is a speck in light of eternity...I don't want to come to the end of my life wishing I wasn't so distracted with insignificant things and time-wasters. Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox here, but all this to explain where I've been...over the last month I got my 'winter cleaning' done..to be liberated during Springtime to be outside with my kids. I'm also trying to get into a rhythm with regular weekly cleaning/tidying (involving the kids with that), and having more structured "fun" time with them..crafts, projects, and activities they enjoy, meal planning, etc...there's a lot I'd like to "get on top of"....I've also forgotten about the "high-maintenance" stage that Jude is at...making him his own separate meal 3x/day and the age-appropriate moodiness to manage/train out of him...and the other 2 spunky monkeys to tame...anyway, enough of my to-do list! I need to make it a "got-done" list. ...I'll leave you with a little snap from my photography class homework...the class is so much fun! ..if only I could find a little more time to practice. ;) ...and I wanted to also mention a prayer request. Andy's "Grandpa Smith" (Sandy's dad) passed away yesterday. Please be in prayer for his wife Peg, Sandy, and the rest of the family..thanks.
