I've been a bit preoccupied the last few days getting the house in order, taming children, prepping for a trip, taming more children, doing laundry, packing, and well--taming children. We are SUPER excited to be heading out to Colorado with the entire Jake fam for hiking, relaxing, eating, and cheering on the Huskers. We are mostly packed and prepped except for a few last minute things...we'll be heading out to my folks Saturday to spend the night and leave early Sunday for a whole week in Colorado. Tomorrow will be more free for a few errands and more taming of the wild beasts that live in our house. We are SO looking forward to the family time together...it's the first time we'll all be together since Christian and Jude have hatched. And with Nick having finished chemo and surgery, it will be a good time to celebrate. We are truly thankful for all the blessings from the Lord's hand.

Hope you guys have a WONDERFUL time. I was thinking how beautiful it will be to be out in Colorado--perhaps some snow? ;o) LOVE that picture of Cami, she really does look so grown up there. Hope your drive goes well--don't forget to pack a few cds of classical music, they are definitely my relaxing go-to trick for long rides now! ;o) Will pray for safe travels for you all!
