8 months down, 1 to go

pregnancy week by week I'm excited to cross another milestone today..only 1 month to go till our expected due date. I've never been one to count down pregnancy days, since my previous two were relatively easy. But this time I'm getting ready to be done. Here's the nursery all ready to go...basically nothing has changed since we decorated for Calvin! I might eventually try to change out Calvin's photos for Jude's. The dresser and changing table is stocked with clean clothes and burp cloths--lots and LOTS of burp cloths! The wall color isn't showing real well, it's more accurate in this picture below... It's kind of a soft sunny green/avocado color. Maybe it's lazy of me, but I like it the way it is and don't want to spend time/money redoing it. Another thing to check off our list is the carseat. After disassembling it into its million pieces, I scrubbed the cloth cover real well and somehow managed to put it back together.
The only thing that I can even think of that needs to be done is installing the carseat. ..and getting pumped up for labor of course. :)

Oh Anna....the nursery is DARLING!! I know you can't wait to have your new lil guy in there! It's not long now, but will probably feel like a year to you! I'm praying this last month goes well for you and that you feel good. You and Amy...taking apart carseats...you amaze me! I didn't even know how to release the handle! Boy...do I have a lot to learn! xxoo

I think everything looks great, Anna. We were just talking the other day about when was your due date - now we know! :-) Hope these last few days go by fast for you.

It looks so peaceful and serene--I like that shade of green. I love those last projects that fill up the final month of waiting. Especially stocking up on wee little diapers and hanging up tiny outfits. He'll be here soon. ;o)

When you get out the carseat and install it.....you know you're getting close!!! Yippee! Hang in there, Mama! Soon it will be snuggles instead of sharp kicks in the ribs. ;) P.S. Love the shade of green!
