Two New Knees for Dad...

Great news--Dad's surgery is done and all went well. They said his knees were just shot. Gave him new knee caps too...they said his bones looked shiny like granite, from being so worn. So we are thankful for the blessings there, and thanks to you all who were praying! Please do pray for a quick recovery for him and strength for my mom to take care of him and the farm. We were able to see him just very briefly (Cami absolutely HAD to see her Papa!), and he looked really good, so that was encouraging. Today they have the femural blocks in so he can't feel much of the pain...I would expect tomorrow, especially evening would be more painful for him after that wears off. Then they'll be pushing hard with physical therapy! It is a good thing that this surgery is around, I have a feeling it will be a HUGE improvement for my dad. Thanks for your prayers!
