Had a little photoshoot today for Calvin's 18 month milestone yesterday...and I remembered it was also Cami's half birthday today...so we got a lovely portrait of the classic Cami & Calvin pose. To celebrate, Calvin is getting the gift of his eye teeth. Oh what happiness and bliss fills our household during this joyous occasion. As long as he is constantly held, read to, kissed, hugged and offered food & drink, there are no tears...poor little guy, it really does hurt him. A full dose of Ibuprofen doesn't even seem to work. ...here are a few more snaps of the little man:
Tomorrow my dad is going in to get both of his knees replaced...or as Andy and his dad put it, "get his legs sawn off." ...I'd appreciate prayer for smooth operation, quick recovery, and strength and rest for my mom also as she will be flying solo managing the farm and the hogs. Morning surgery, probably lasting around 5 hours. I'll let you know how it goes!
...oh, and p.s. Cami has unraveled the mystery of where in fact french fries come from...they are made from kitties. That's right. Kitties.

Papa wants to know if they'er made by kitties or from kitties. Maybe they will work in a low carb diet after all!

I got one of those same poses on Sunday when Cami gave Calvin a hug for me... hehehe...
I think I sense the phrase "back away from the boy" radiating from Cal when his big sis comes around. He knows true nurturing comes from his mama!! :)
Oh my gosh! When I read where Cami thinks french fries come from - I started busting out laughing! That is FUUUUUUUUNNY!!!!!
And Calvin - he's not just a little guy anymore. He's all grown up. Just a little man now! Boy has he gone through a huge growth spurt since this summer when Brian and I were there house hunting! :) Both of those kiddos are so cute!
I love you guys so much :) Hehe. The pictures of Calvin elicited an audible "aww." :)
