Poor little buddy was blessed with my coordination genes--or lack thereof. He's just been clumsy lately...was walking towards the kitchen in our sunken room and face-planted into that wooden step (the same one that scarred Cami's lip)...my friend was over for a playdate with her 4 kids, so thankfully she was there to feed everyone lunch and take care of Cami while we were gone to the ER. The cut didn't look horrible (after the bleeding stopped), but was kind of deep and given that it was on the lip/skin border, my ped. nurse over the phone told us to go to the ER. It was cut on the inside and out, although they only stitched the outside. And we had the best seamtress that was on duty today, so that was a blessing too.
Until next time we'll be jivin' to the 80s tune, "hah, hah, hah, hah, stayin' alive, stayin' alive...hah, hah, hah, hah, stayin' alive..."

Oh, poor little buddy!!!! That had to hurt!!!!! P.S. My word verification is "lookeot" which is eerily close to "lookout!" :)
Oh...poor lil guy! Seems those steps get em every time! Both my girls caught their faces on the brick hearth on the fireplace! Good thing God makes 'em tough!
He's so little...that scar won't even be noticable in a few years!
