Calvin. My boy.
My sweet & sour, sometimes cool, but mostly spicy little big guy. You have grown into such a responsible kid. Even though you're the high-strung, do-it-right-or-not-at-all type, you're learning to handle your emotions and take things in stride. You love to push to get your way and have proven to be quite strong-willed. And I think this will be a good thing when you get older, as will your sense of humor.
While I've always loved having a "Calvin," there was a time when life felt like this:
But by God's grace you've grown into a calm & cool (most of the time--*wink*), fun kid who is gifted in many ways--especially with your perfect pile of curls on your head. (By the way, please don't ever cut them off.)
We love you so much and pray that you'll continue to grow in the Lord, and keep seeking answers to your deep spiritual questions. And keep doing the right thing, striving to live a life for God's glory.
