I know what you're thinking...what in the world am I trying this impossible stunt again for? Well, it's simple really. I had these coordinating outfits in mind for the kids' summer photoshoot...which got postponed many times due to life in progress. The other day I decided to bite the bullet and try again--this time on a Sunday morning--since they all had to get dressed up anyway--and since getting 4 little people semi-groomed and out the door on time isn't exciting enough. So I tried early morning before we left, careful to test the lighting with this shot before stressing Jada out.
After several shots, it really wasn't going well. Perhaps sitting on damp grass on a 55 degree morning had something to do with it...
...and since that was so much fun, we tried again after church, before lunch. After letting them all snitch some chocolate chips. And peanut butter. And a half dozen handfuls of other random food around. Surely it'll work this time...especially because my unpictured handsome husband came out to trick them into thinking picture taking is fun get them to smile:
I liked this grassy backdrop the best, although Jude had a rather unfocused moment...
or two.
...make that three.
Just a few more at this point since the littlest wheel is starting to squeak.

Oh, your photo sessions always make me laugh! ;o) I like your grassy background too and all their cute little outfits--you have a sweet bunch there, even if they are a bit tricky to photograph. ;o)
