Meet Izzy and Polly.
Cami is the proud owner of two beautiful betta fish. One of them was supposed to be Calvin & Jude's, but Cami sort of domineered the situation, naming them both by girl names (ignoring the fact they are males), and decided she would have charge of both. She has been waiting quite awhile for a pet, afterall. Andy had planned on getting 3 fish in one tank, and as it turns out, these fish need a dividing wall since they are such constant fighters. So they fit in perfectly with our feisty bunch. Except, where are my wall dividers? Hmm....I just thought of a great remodel idea for the kids' rooms.

I had a blue betta in college. They are pretty hardy and deal with lots of neglect (like ummm, not changing the water for awhile . . .). Both of mine leapt to their deaths (probably due to water conditions . . .). But I see you have a lid, so it should be smooth sailing. Unless that is, you wanted to host a fight night and take wagers?? ;o)
my sister's roommate had a tank like that with 2 betta. but their wall was clear, so the two attempted to fight, but finally gave up. after a couple weeks they took the clear wall out, but the fish still stayed on their own sides of the take and left each other alone. maybe that would work with the kiddo's too... just a temporary clear wall that you cane take down. ;)
